Visitors can interact with a historical figure, through either chat or voice call, to ask any questions they might have.
The installation consists of a touchscreen and an old school telephone. The display will feature a cartoon representation of the historical figure, with subtitles underneath allowing all visitors to follow the conversation.
Visitors can ask questions through either the telephone or via the touchscreen. To call, simply pick up the telephone and start talking. For those that prefer chatting, there are buttons on the screen with the most popular questions, so these can quickly be asked. By pressing on the keyboard button, an on-screen keyboard will appear so you type your own question.
As mentioned above, this is just a first idea of what it could become. One of the concerns of this current sketch is that you would just be talking to a screen, which might not be very appealing. As always, I’ll keep you posted on my progress.
